The New England Patriots caught a major break on offense, while simultaneously taking a hit on the defensive side of the ball.

Veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins has been activated from injured reserve and cleared to return for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos. Hollins had the fourth-most receiving yards for the Patriots in the season, and he will serve as another big-bodied target for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye to utilize against a talented Broncos defense.

With that said, the Patriots also ruled out veteran edge rusher Harold Landry III. That means they will be without their leading sack artist in the season. The good news for the Patriots is the fact that outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings has stepped up in a major way throughout the playoffs.

They will need another strong performance from the veteran defender to make up for the loss of Landry in this matchup. The Broncos are starting their backup quarterback, Jarrett Stidham, but he will be playing behind one of the better offensive lines in the league.
