The New England Patriots had five players missing at Wednesday's practice, ahead of their wild-card showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Garrett Bradbury, Anfernee Jennings, Morgan Moses and Vederian Lowe were all out with illness. Khyiris Tonga was the only player on the report missing with an injury. The veteran defensive tackle has been dealing with a foot injury that has kept him sidelined for the last two games.
That injury will be one to keep an eye on considering how valuable Tonga has been for the team in stopping the run.
The good news for the Patriots is that Robert Spillane, Harold Landry III and Jared Wilson were all back as limited participants. That means New England might go into the playoffs healthier than they've been in weeks.
As for the Chargers, standout rookie running back Omarion Hampton was missing at practice with an ankle injury. That would be a huge loss for the Chargers if the injury somehow kept him out of Sunday's game.
