According to a report from Front Office Sports, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes ranked third in the league last season in NFLPA Group Licensing Income.
Mahomes, through his LLC, 2 PM, drew in over $8 million; he led all players in the 2023-2024 season with $3.6 million, with teammate Travis Kelce ranking fourth that year with $2.4 million. Last year, 2 PM LLC earned $1.9 million.
Group licensing involves deals with six or more players, most commonly for jerseys, trading cards, video games, and other collectibles. In addition to royalties, the NFLPA figures also include player marketing income from appearances and hospitality promotions.
The top spot this year was taken by Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, whose $17.7 million in group licensing earnings is nearly double the previous record, set by NFL player Tom Brady, who made $9.5 million during the 2021-22 NFL season. Group licensing does not include individual deals.
Mahomes finished the 2025 season with 22 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions in 14 games before his knee injury. He also rushed for 422 yards and five touchdowns.
