It seems like league wide the bottom teams have discovered NBA style tanking.
Raiders put Bowers and Maxx Crosby on IR for injuries they've been playing through all season.
Giants just moved Andrew Thomas and two other OL to IR
Chiefs put Rashee Rice, their WR1, on IR for a concussion right after elimination.
Jets putting Tyrod and Fields on IR for short term injuries.

Thank goodness- last thing we needed was to see PJ get a serious injury in a meaningless game. He’s got his reps in, we know he is a solid player. See you next year PJ- hopefully protecting a rookie qb

What is the difference between “promote” and “elevate” here for the PS guys?
Elevated is just for the game, promoted means you're on the active roster.

Graves losing Rolle, Dansby and Boldin on the same day(iirc) is the worst disliked time for me.

To be fair, Dansby was signed March 8 2010 and Boldin was traded March 6 2010. Cards release Rolle on March 4 2010.
So more like a catastrophic week.
Very important details that definitely needed to be pointed out.
