Carolina Panthers president of football operations and general manager Dan Morgan might've just got the home-run threat he was looking for.

With the 83rd overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Panthers have selected University of Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II. Carolina reportedly met with the speedy 6-foot-4, 198 pounder during the pre-draft process.

Before transferring to Knoxville ahead of the 2024 season, Brazzell spent his first two collegiate campaigns at Tulane University. In 15 games with the Green Wave, the Fort Worth, Texas native tallied 45 catches for 722 yards and five touchdowns.

This past year for the Vols, Brazzell reeled in 62 balls for 1,017 yards and nine scores en route to a first-team All-SEC nod. He ended up averaging a bulky 16.4 yards per reception.

Brazzell then lit up the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in February, registering a 4.37-second 40-yard dash.
