The Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with free-agent linebacker Devin Lloyd, according to a report the night of March 9 from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported that Lloyd's three-year deal is worth $45 million. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Lloyd receives $25M fully guaranteed.

Lloyd, who played in 63 games over his first four NFL seasons for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was believed to be among the best free-agent LBs available. Many Bengals fans had expressed a desire for Cincinnati to sign him this offseason.

Lloyd was a first-time Pro Bowler last season for the Jags. He had a career-best five interceptions, including one returned 99 yards for a touchdown.

Lloyd finished the 2025 season with 1.5 sacks, and 10 quarterback hits.

Lloyd was the Jags' first-round pick (27th overall) in the 2022 NFL draft. The Bengals selected defensive back Dax Hill four picks later.
