Dan Morgan may have gotten his man . . . again.

According to ESPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms with free-agent linebacker Devin Lloyd on a three-year, $45 million pact.

An All-American and two-time first-team All-Pac 12 member from the University of Utah, Lloyd was selected with the 27th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He'd go on to start in 15 of his 17 games as a rookie—amassing 115 combined tackles, three interceptions, eight passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.

Lloyd continued his production over the next two seasons—totaling 240 tackles, 2.0 sacks, a pick and a forced fumble between 2023 and 2024.

The 2025 campaign would prove to be Lloyd's best as a pro, as he notched five interceptions over 15 outings. He'd be named a first-time Pro Bowler and received a second-team All-Pro nod after helping the Jaguars clinch their first AFC South title since 2022.

Carolina's reported agreement with Lloyd follows up their reported agreement earlier in the day with outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips, who is expected to sign a four-year, $120 million deal.
