Unlike 2024 and 2025, Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks may be ready for all of 2026.
Head coach Dave Canales sat down with reporters at the NFL's Annual League Meeting from Phoenix, Ariz. on Monday morning. Among the topics he discussed during his media availability was the status of Brooks, who seems to be nearing a full return to the field . . .
Due to a pair of ACL tears, Brooks has played in only three games since being selected by the Panthers in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Those outings came in the middle of his rookie campaign, where he totaled 22 rushing yards on nine carries and 23 more yards on three receptions.
Carolina opted to hold Brooks out for the entirety of the 2025 season, placing him on the physically unable to perform list last spring.
Brooks will turn 23 years old in July.
