FIRST TEAM
Angelina Baronci, C, Wellington senior: Baronci provided pop in the Wolverines’ lineup, hitting .406 with 12 extra-base hits — four
doubles, six triples and two home runs. Baronci drove in 20 runs and had a 1.199 OPS.
Sam Basen, IF, Jupiter senior: Basen, a three-time first-team selection, finished her career with another excellent season, Basen hit .387 with seven extra-base hits (two doubles, three triples and her first two career home runs). Basen, a FAU signee, also had 13 steals and 1.207 OPS.
Haven Berryhill, OF, Seminole Ridge senior: Berryhill excelled in her senior season, setting career highs in batting average (.559), hits (38) and RBIs (18). She notched a 1.200 OPS and also stole 34 bases.
Adriana Boucher, UT, Spanish River junior: Boucher had a breakout year, hitting .492 with 17 extra-base hits (13 doubles, three
triples and one home run). Boucher had 21 RBIs and a 1.390 OPS.
Sierra Cook, IF, Dwyer senior: Cook set career highs in batting average (.432), home runs (five), RBIs (31) and OPS (1.268).
Avalowe Fitzgerald, P, Jupiter freshman: Fitzgerald hit .500 with 11 doubles, three triples and two home runs, piling up a 1.413 OPS. In the circle, she went 12-2 with a 1.63 ERA and 135 strikeouts in 86 innings.
Lex Gleichenhaus, IF, Olympic Heights senior: Gleichenhaus led the Lions with seven extra-base hits, 22 RBIs and a 1.258 OPS. The senior hit .438 with 14 stolen bases.
Lilly Larkin, IF, West Boca Raton freshman: Larkin had a breakout freshman campaign, leading the Bulls with a .500 batting average and notching 11 extra-base hits (eight doubles and three triples). Larkin had a 1.244 OPS and led the team with 14 steals.
Kaiya Parker, OF, Jupiter sophomore: Parker improved on a solid freshman year, hitting .486 with eight extra-base hits. Parker drove in 23 runs and had a 1.180 OPS. Parker also stole 11 bases.
Sasha Seidel, P, Jupiter senior: Seidel hit .369 with one home run, 25 RBIs and a .909 OPS. She also pitched 48 1/3 innings and went 8-2 wit ha 1.59 ERA. She struck out 77 batters.
Gabriela Thigpen, IF, West Boca Raton junior: Thigpen notched a .471 batting average and hit 11 doubles (as well as one home run). Thigpen ended the year with a 1.212 OPS.
Cameron Vickers, P, Wellington sophomore: Vickers was Wellington’s ace, going 4-2 with a 1.96 ERA. Vickers pitched 78 2/3 innings, striking out 69 batters.
Abygail Gonzalez, UT, Spanish River senior: Gonzalez hit .458 with seven doubles, two home runs and a 1.268 OPS and was the Sharks’ No. 1 pitcher.
Angeline Mergen, UTIL, Park Vista senior: Mergen set career highs in batting average (.522), doubles (five), triples (nine), RBIs (23), OPS (1.524) and stolen bases (27).

COACH OF THE YEAR
Steve Ahern, Jupiter: The Warriors were one of Palm Beach County’s top teams, ending the season 22-4. Jupiter
reached the state semifinals before falling to eventual champion Oviedo Hagerty.
