FIRST TEAM​


Grace Boehly, IF, South Plantation senior: Boehly hit .485 with 10 extra-base hits (seven doubles, two triples and one home run). She drove in 23 runs with a 1.261 OPS.

Myah Boleen, C, Stoneman Douglas senior: Boleen led the team with a 1.384 OPS, hitting .435 with four home runs and 11 doubles and driving in a team-best 30 runs.

Kaitlin Enright, P, Stoneman Douglas junior: Enright hit .507 with 11 extra-base hits (five doubles, five triples and a home run), 27 RBIs and a 1.299 OPS. Enright also pitched 120 innings with a 3.32 ERA.

McKenna Henschel, P, South Plantation senior: Henschel hit .469 with a 1.255 OPS. She served as the Paladins’ only pitcher, starting and completing all 20 games, with a 3.00 ERA.

Kylie Keenan, P, Fort Lauderdale senior: Keenan hit .576 with a sky-high 1.811 OPS, adding 10 stolen bases. Keenan went 10-3, striking out 96 batters in 85 innings.

Destiney Ortega, P, Pembroke Pines Charter junior: Ortega went 18-6 with a career-best 1.62 ERA, striking out 172 batters in 133 2/3 innings. She also hit .417 with 25 RBIs.

Isabella Pascual, C, Pembroke Pines Charter sophomore: Pascual hit .463 with 11 doubles, three home runs and 32 RBIs with a 1.222 OPS.

Sofia Rodriguez, IF, Pembroke Pines Charter sophomore: Rodriguez was a potent power hitter in 2026, hitting .479 with 13 doubles and two triples. She drove in 21 runs and had 1.215 OPS.

Brianna Sims, OF, St. Thomas Aquinas senior: Sims led the team with a .452 average and 21 RBIs while hitting six doubles, a triple and three home runs. She also led the team with 10 steals.

Ashlyn Ward, OF, St. Thomas Aquinas senior: Ward hit .408 and paced the Raiders with four home runs, six triples and a team-leading 1.331 OPS and added stole nine bases.

Brooke Bacaris, IF, Western senior: Bacaris hit .406 and drove in 15 runs, tacking on 15 steals to go with her .978 OPS.

Cheyanne Chaffin, P, Western junior: Chaffin was Western’s ace, starting 24 games and going 14-5. She posted a 1.41 ERA and struck out 165 batters in 133 2/3 innings.

Aleena Fonseca, IF, Pembroke Pines Charter eighth grader: Fonseca led the Jaguars with 14 doubles, four home runs and a 1.300 OPS. She hit .424 with 32 RBIs, and she stole 12 bases.

Hanna Turner, OF, Western senior: Turner was the Wildcats’ leading hitter, batting .412 with five extra-base hits. She stole a team
best 23 bases.

CO-COACHES OF THE YEAR​


Gaddy Nunez, Pembroke Pines Charter: Under Nunez, the Jaguars bounced back from a 12-15 record in 2025 and improved to 21-9. Pines Charter won its district and advanced to the Class 5A state semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Winter Springs.

John Bradshaw, Western: Bradshaw continued his strong tenure with the Wildcats, leading Western to a 24-6 record. Western reached the Class 7A state title game but fell to Oviedo Hagerty.
