Super Bowl LX is finally here. The Green Bay Packers won't playing in the Super Bowl for the 15th consecutive season, but the drought won't stop us from predicting Sunday's showdown between the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks and AFC champion New England Patriots, two teams with plenty of Packers connections.

Here’s how the staff at Packers Wire believes the Super Bowl LX between the Seahawks and Patriots will go down.

Zach Kruse (11-6-1 season record): Patriots 23, Seahawks 20

The Seahawks are the favorite for good reasons, but I'm going to go against the grain and take the Patriots. Sam Darnold is overdue for a turnover or two, and I don't trust the Seahawks offensive line. I also think New England's defense -- which has created eight takeaways during the postseason -- is underrated. The guess here is Drake Maye is the better quarterback, a Darnold turnover creates a big swing in the second half, and the Patriots win late on a field goal.

Brandon Carwile (13-4-1): Seahawks 28, Patriots 17

This year’s Super Bowl features two really talented rosters, but Seattle feels like the more complete team. I give their defense a slight edge because of their attacking nature and ability to dominate the trenches. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye had an excellent regular season and could be better than Sam Darnold in the long run, but New England’s offense lacks firepower, and Darnold has outplayed Maye this postseason. Also, New England has had a much easier path to the Super Bowl, while Seattle is battle-tested after outlasting two divisional opponents from an ultra-competitive NFC West. I’m hoping for a competitive game, but I think Seattle will be in control for most of this one.

Mark Oldacres (11-6-1): Seahawks 20, Patriots 14

While New England’s defense was propped up by a soft schedule in the regular season, they have stepped up in the playoffs and allowed the Patriots to progress despite underwhelming performances by MVP runner up Drake Maye. They should be able to cause some problems for Sam Darnold, who is still capable of short circuiting under pressure, but ultimately the Seahawks have the best unit in this game, and their suffocating defense should be the difference in what could be a relatively low scoring game.

Brennen Rupp (10-7-1): Seahawks 23, Patriots 17

Sam Darnold has been unbelievable in these playoffs and I think he tops off his run with a Super Bowl MVP. I’m not sure the Patriots will be able to slow down Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker has scored four rushing touchdowns in these playoffs. I think the Patriots will be able to keep this game close, but ultimately Darnold and the Seahawks will hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
