A team shouldnt be afriad of bringing him for a year. He is always mister nice guy team player the first year he goes to a team. Its the second year and beyond he turns into the Hulk version of TO where all he wants to do is smash things.

This was very smart timing for Dallas. Late at night after three other big news stories come down the wire. Now the morning shows in sports today cant talk about ad nausiem because they have to talk about Warner, Lewis, and Manny as well.

Well, the NFL Network is wall-to-wall TO.

($9.6 million cap hit, by the way)

I could see him ending up in Tennessee. He went to college there, they need a WR, and Fisher's a pretty strong-willed coach that could handle Owens.
that's a good idea. Well done.

If Minnesota's play for a championship "now", I could see him helping in the short term.

I would LOVE for the Patriots to take him.

If the Patriots had him lined up across from Moss with Welker inside...Brady wouldn't even need to be 100% healthy to put up 60 TD's.

I understand the pitfall of not having chemistry but TO and Moss are both similar in that they will usually be on good behavior if the team is winning and they are getting receptions.

Actually, now that I think of that scenario it makes me think that the Cardinals are only a Wes Welker away from having it themselves. The Patriots D and o-line would also need to be replicated but Fitz/Boldin is very much a Moss/TO combo. I just got myself excited about 2009.

TO is getting older, that is part of the reason his production is going down

1,000+ and 10 TD's isn't really "down" when you consider he had Brad Johnson and an injured Tony Romo in '08.

Which is why he should just go to the Raiders. They are already ruined, so he would fit right in. He probably couldn't screw the place up any worse than Al Davis already has.
Cowherd was talking about that. 'T.O. is a perfect fit for Oakland - because 1) he is productive on the field, which Oakland desparately needs; and 2) the Raider are all ready so screwed-up that he couldn't really make it any worse!' :p

By the way, I heard that the 'Pukes also released SS Roy Williams...
