That's a solid haul - curious how the total value plays out with their 1sts vs a 1 & 2 from Dallas

I like the aggressiveness by Baltimore. But for my tastes that's too much. Crosby hasn't had a truly dominant year in 2 seasons. Plus he's going into year 7 in a league where the average length of career for an OLBer is about 4 years. i Saw an interview with him as the season ended and he had IIRC his 12th surgery since hes been in the league.

I can't believe that Dallas was going to make that trade if it was accepted. why not just keep parsons if you were going to do all that. I'm a little surprised Jerry didn't give both of his firsts.

Yeah we had no chance at Maxx. The reason they traded him is he asked them to because during the year they made him get knee surgery when he wanted to play out the year. They were tanking for the draft pick and told him that, he was furious he didn't want to lose on purpose and didn't want to be part of a rebuild again so he told them if I get the surgery, you have to agree to trade me.

So he was always going to end up on a contender.

Great player with a history of injury so big risk but obviously 2 firsts is a nice payback.

I would rather dream big than sign LJ Collier

The Colts paid a higher price for Sauce Gardner at last season’s deadline than the Ravens did for Maxx Crosby:

Gardner: No. 16 + 2027 1st + AD Mitchell

Crosby: No. 14 + 2027 1st

The key was getting a 1st rounder in 2027. That draft is loaded compared to this one.

The Raiders with a rare “win” here. IMHO Crosby is overrated.
