When we think of the most toxic fan bases in the NFL, the Los Angeles Chargers‘ is not one that comes to mind, but Las Vegas Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby views things differently.

Crosby was hanging out with streamer Neon recently and Neon asked the Raiders star which team has the most toxic fanbase.

Crosby didn’t hesitate to name the Chargers, who he also said isn’t a real L.A. team.

“I think the Chargers, low key,” he responded. “The Chargers do because they got a smaller fanbase, they started in San Diego so it’s more… they’re not really an L.A. team, they’re not from L.A., so their fans feel like they need to be louder because they don’t have as many… don’t have numbers like us, so they’re real toxic.”

“And I respect that, though, because if it pisses me off, that means they’re probably doing a pretty good job of talking s***, and they don’t stop,” he added.

Before saying that, Crosby revealed that Chargers fans came at him hard after he put a late hit on quarterback Justin Herbert before also shoving the Chargers signal-caller to the ground in a game during the 2025 season.

“(The Chargers) fan base came at me like, ‘You f****** junkie crackhead motherf*****,’ like non-stop… but they’re crazy, though,” he said.

Crosby said that he really hates all teams, which is to be expected from a competitor like him, but clearly the Chargers have a special place in his mind.

It has been an interesting offseason for Crosby, who wanted out of Las Vegas and was nearly traded to the Baltimore Ravens in March before Baltimore decided to cancel the deal.

The Ravens said it was because of Crosby’s injured knee, which he had surgery on during the offseason, but many believe it was actually a result of Baltimore getting cold feet on a deal that saw the team give up two first-round picks.

Whatever the case may be, Crosby has re-committed to the Raiders and the expectation is that he’s going to at least start the season in Las Vegas.

However, there is still a real possibility that Crosby is put back on the trade block again at some point.

After all, Crosby’s desire to be traded was a result of the Raiders being a perennial loser and that doesn’t figure to change in 2026 with Las Vegas in the midst of a rebuild.

We would expect Crosby to start the season with the Raiders, but it would not be at all shocking to see him traded at the deadline in November.
