Talk about a huge blow for two teams and the league as a whole… Neither will likely contribute much of anything for at least the first half of next season either.

Apparently they think Davante Adams hamstring is significant and could miss a good amount of time as well.

I absolutely want 2 weeks of preseason with 18 game schedule to go along with two bye weeks.

Only 2 weeks of preseason and 18 meaningful games is working less than the current setup and with more games that count.

We used to have 4 preseason games and 16 regular season games.

We now have 3 preseason games and 17 regular season games.

Next logical step is to 2 preseason games and 18 regular season games.

I believe @dreamcastrocks also said mix in another bye week. So, technically you're working the same, but more games count for something, and you get an extra week of rest during the season.

Exactly. Plus the NFL gets one more week of better ratings. It seems like all around win.

Mahomes has surgery for torn ACL; LCL also repaired, per source

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes underwent successful surgery Monday in Dallas to repair the tear in his left ACL. A league source told ESPN that Mahomes also had a torn LCL that was repaired.
