So, you mean a quality coach like Sean Payton, who openly lobbied for the job and how he'd use K1? I would honestly think a quality coach, with a great offensive mind would want to come and see if they can fully tap the potential of Murray. BA was kinda that way....he could work with someone like Luck, for sure, but he also had a thing for cast off veteran QBs (Palmer was his greatest with BA). I think someone like McCarthy wouldn't mind giving Murray a shot for a year.

I have zero opinion either way, personally...He can go or be kept. Doesn't matter to me.
Payton is winning in Denver with a QB than is worse than either K1 or JB

I blame K1 for not going all out to convince Sean Payton to take this job. He should have been calling him every day, telling him he'd workout with Brees, convince him that Russ is a waste of time, etc etc etc

You werent here at the time, but a few here felt it was Payton or bust for Kyler's future. Especially with the knee injury. If Payton should just 5% interest he needed to go out all to convince Arizona was the place to be.

Well its been a bust the last 3(4) years.

I wanted Payton in the worst way. We have never had anyone in this organization with his pedigree.

I don’t blame K1 but I’m with you in that he should have been campaigning for him. I don’t think that K1 is that outgoing and it does hurt him I believe.

Bidwill is who let Payton get on a plane to Denver so it is on him. I don’t know if Payton was even considering us or if this was just a sympathy stop.

We’ve had far too many injuries to have success in terms of wins and losses. The fact that we’re in almost every game is proof that we have built enough depth that the team is closer than the naysayers like yourself want to admit. We’re a young team with plenty of potential if we can somehow stay healthier. Yes, we should fire the OL coach, possibly the OC, and even the DL coach. Firing MOJG won’t resolve anything.
Still in this mode, eh?

Payton was traded for by the Broncos. The Saints got a 1st and 2nd from Denver.

The Payton who lobied hard for the job on Cowherd, multiple times and then spent days at the facility with Michael, being interviewed? Yes, that Payton...who left and finally accepted Denver because Michael wouldn't give him what he wanted (full control).
