his game is totally different. Its also an instructive A/B test.

Same QB, same offensive savant HC -- so what changed?

looking at the team now vs 3 years ago?

WR talent way worse with Hill gone.

Kelce is still there, but Kelce was in his prime back then, vs on the downside (but still good) today.

Offensive line was much, much better. Their tackles today are a real question mark.

You mean there is context around why a player might not be playing to past performance levels?

Context is way outlawed here. There is only history of the now.

The internet is available for research.

3 seasons ago, his last great year, was possibly his best year. 5250 yards. 309 YPG. 41/12, 105 passer rating. 79 QBR.

Tyreek was already gone. His receivers were JuJu, Hardman, MVS, Justin Watson, Skye Moore and Kadarius Toney. If anything his current receivers are better.

I agree his O line was better, but Mahomes has regressed beyond an O line that's a little worse. He still has Creed, Trey Smith, and Josh Simmons looks good at LT.

I think the turning point when I lost faith in Kyler ever being the guy was the last game of the 2020 season.

We played the John Wolford led Rams and had to win the game to finish 9-7, leapfrog the Rams and have a chance at making the playoffs.

Kyler wimps out after the 1st drive with a sore leg and doesn't return until Q4, where upon return he looks fine (I recall him running). What kind of leader, with the season on the line and a chance to seal the playoffs goes to the locker room with a sore leg for close to 3 quarters? It can't have been that serious for him to look fine in Q4, and he had the whole of the 1st half to get treated and then come back in after half time with the score 7-12.

I thought that was a wuss move and was reminded of it when I remembered this today.

Aye man

Critique, criticize, & slander Kyler’s inconsistent, mediocre, Jekyll & Hyde play all you want to. That’s more the merrier.

Nobody here knows another person’s body. If someone is battling an injury, pointless to be against it.

Tbh, if you really wanted to point a game out you lost faith in Kyler that season, it was the 49ers game the week before.

That was bad as well. But that Rams game spoke to his character for me. I don't see how you can be beyond playing for 3 quarters and then be running in Q4.

I don't expect him to come back in and run, but if you can run by Q4 you can drop back and pass before then. That was a very winnable game if he mans up.

The 49ers game was much worse considering half of their damn team was on IR.

The Rams game, meh, I’m not the type to want athletes to push through their injuries. There’s times when you become a liability & even selfish because your ego wouldn’t let the next man up get his/her opportunity.

The fact the ball was barely being moved against SF & the team looked out of sorts was one of the biggest red flags I ever seen.

That 2020 Niners game was the last game that ever truly infuriated me as a Cardinals fan. I remember just being freaking LIVID when we lost that Saturday afternoon game, at home, with the playoffs on the line and Kyler and the Offense just took a massive dump on the field against an awful Niners team starting their 3rd string across the board.

The next season was awesome when we started 7-0 but when the wheels fell off the second half of the season, it just felt like deja vu… and the playoffs were just too comical from the jump to get mad. And then last season was just a rerun of those seasons with another patented collapse.

I was at that game against GB. It was gut-wrenching. Kyler did nothing wrong, but apparently, Green didn't turn around. Kyler's body language after that was terrible, which is understandable. But he would never be the same mentally after that game.
