Well they were always moving on from Jones, I don't think this changes anything from yesterday.

They will sign a vet now, but likely still draft a QB at 3. Despite all the rumors I'm pretty sure they draft Maye.

I don't see any scenario where they draft MHJ. THey are either take a QB, or trade out for someone who will.

It still all depends on who the Patriots sign at QB in free agency. But most likely they will go QB at #3.

Personally it's sad for me living in the Boston area. I was high on Mac Jones coming out of draft and was glad he fell to the Patriots, especially after a fairly promising rookie season.

The book isn't closed on Mac Jones. There are numerous examples of QBs that can play well in a system, with good receivers, who struggle with bad o coordinators and lesser talent.

It's actually a bit crazy that anyone thought he would succeed last year with the crap they were running out there.
