Lincoln Riley's bread and butter is developing a top offense in college football. Last season was no different, even with a new starting quarterback. The Trojans got younger and lost some stars to the NFL draft. This season, their rival, the Oregon Ducks, could have them beat on paper in terms of offensive talent.
In a recent article, Zachary Neel breaks down how dangerous the Oregon Ducks' offense will be this upcoming season. Here is what he had to say:
"Going into the 2026 season, it's not up for debate that the Oregon Ducks have one of the most talented rosters in the nation. Led by quarterback Dante Moore, the offense is experienced and deep, with guys like Jordon Davison, Dierre Hill, Jamari Johnson, Evan Stewart, and Jeremiah McClellan headlining the unit.
How this talent comes together in the fall and works to get Dan Lanning closer to that elusive national championship is a different question, but as we sit here hurdling through the offseason, Duck fans can feel confident that there are few games on the schedule this year where they will be mismatched as far as X's and O's go, if any."
The Ducks' offense will be as prolific as it gets in college football this season. Not only do they have talent, but this is an offense with a ton of experience together. USC will have to be at its best offensively to win a much-needed game in Week 5.
