Oregon has filled an opening on a future football schedule, the team announced Aug. 7.
The Ducks will play Sacramento State on Sept. 9, 2028 at Autzen Stadium, closing a void that came about when Oregon and Baylor mutually agreed to cancel their home-and-home series previously scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
The home game against the Hornets fills out the Ducks' nonconference schedule for 2027. Oregon will also host North Dakota State on Sept. 2 in the season opener and play Oregon State on Sept. 16 in Corvallis.
The game against the Beavers will mark a resumption of the rivalry series between the two in-state programs. Oregon and Oregon won't play each other in 2026 or 2027 but have a four-game agreement that includes matchups in 2028, 2029, 2031 and 2032.
