The early Heisman ad campaign for Dante Moore might have put it best.
"Yes, there's Moore!"
While Moore is the headline at quarterback, Dakorien Moore is a game-breaking receiver for the Oregon Ducks, and the pair could work together to bring the Ducks to the promised land this season. The Moore-to-Moore connection dominated at times last season, but 2026 is an opportunity for both to take their game to another level.
On3's J.D. Pickell expects them to do just that, ranking the Oregon duo No. 4 among the best duos in college football entering the 2026 season. The pair of Ducks fell behind Texas' Arch Manning and Cam Coleman, Miami's Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney and Ohio State's Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith.
The 2025 season began with an elite connection between Moore and Moore. A 65-yard touchdown against Oklahoma State was their first scoring connection, and their versatility and speed downfield made them an instant threat.
Dakorien suffered a leg injury toward the end of the season, which slowed their connection. He finished the season with 34 catches for 497 yards and four total touchdowns. Dante still had a big season throwing the football, eclipsing 3,500 yards through the air and 30 passing touchdowns.
With both now fully healthy and continuing to strengthen their bond this offseason, which included a trip to Tokyo, Dante and Dakorien could plant their flag as the best duo in the nation by the end of the season.
"They're just going to be so versatile together," Pickell said. "Their skill sets, there's not a lot that these two guys can't do on a football field at their respective positions. Dante Moore is seasoned and savvy, great at identifying coverages and great at putting the ball where it needs to be. He's going to be able to throw Dakorien Moore open pretty frequently. I think Dakorien Moore can play any position on the football field when it comes to what you're going to ask of your receivers at Oregon. You can line him up and pick your matchup."
Oregon does have the ability to put Moore in a position to succeed in a loaded wide receiver room. With Evan Stewart returning to the fold, as well as Jeremiah McClellan, Iverson Hooks and plenty of talented freshmen, Dakorien Moore won't be the only threat on the field, which could open him up to more one-on-one matchups.
Moore and Moore will get a chance to prove their greatness together again next season when they open play against Boise State on September 5.
