same. I don’t know why anyone expected different. He’s been erratic on clutch kicks his entire career. The fact that it took this long for Keim to do anything about it is yet another indictment on his GM skills.

At this point I would take Catman (is he available?) over Zane. Feel sorry for Zane but you cannot be that inconsistent as an NFL kicker. Just can't.

Zane can't handle pressure kicks. That is obvious. It is time to cut him loose. We have Mike Nugent on the PS, he might not be any better but so what. Keim could also bring in a slew of kickers to go at it with Nugent. Send a message to the team that poor performance is not acceptable.
