Game 2 of the Lawrence Super Regional between No. 15 Kansas and unseeded Oklahoma won't start on time due to weather.
Kansas baseball announced first pitch will be delayed with an unspecified start time as rain and severe weather rolls through the Lawrence, Kansas area.

The game was originally set for 6 p.m. ET, but should be able to be played on June 7, regardless of the delay. Rain isn't expected in the area after 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT), according to Weather.com.
Oklahoma is looking to punch its ticket to the College World Series after winning 8-1 in Game 1 of the series, while the Jayhawks will look to force a Game 3 on June 8.

Weather.com projects 0.47 inches of precipitation from now until 7 p.m. ET, along with thunderstorms. However, the rain is expected to stop by 8 p.m. ET, with no further rainfall projected.
