The 2025-26 OKC Metro High School Sports Awards Show, Presented by Landmark Fine Homes, has secured two of college softball’s most dynamic rising stars as its featured guest speakers for its live show on June 11 at Young Family Athletic Center. Oklahoma Sooners standouts Allyssa Parker and Kai Minor have both entered the national spotlight backed by measurable production, elite accolades and immediate impact at the collegiate level.
Parker, a freshman right‑handed pitcher and utility player from Pocola, arrived at OU following a historic high‑school career in which she was The Oklahoman's inaugural All-State Player of the Year. She also earned back‑to‑back Gatorade Oklahoma Softball Player of the Year honors in 2024 and 2025. Her senior season included a 28-1 record, 0.10 ERA, and 224 strikeouts, while opponents hit just .097 against her. She also posted a .667 batting average, 45 RBIs and 15 home runs, ranking as the nation’s No. 7 prospect in the Class of 2025.
In her freshman season at Oklahoma, Parker continued to contribute on both sides of the ball. She hit .328 with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs and a 1.433 OPS across 49 games. In the circle, she made 20 appearances, recording a 5–1 record with 37 strikeouts in 45 innings.
Joining her on stage is freshman outfielder Kai Minor, one of the most statistically dominant first‑year players in the country. Minor led Oklahoma with a .444 batting average, adding 84 hits, 18 doubles, 7 triples, 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 17 stolen bases, all while maintaining a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in center field. Her performance earned her NFCA First Team All‑Midwest Region, Softball America First Team All‑American, All‑SEC First Team, and recognition as a Top‑3 finalist for NFCA Freshman of the Year.
