Sure Hoyer is equivilent to Hundley. Did you even see Hundley when Rodgers was out?

Seahawks traded a 6th for him and said kick rocks 5 months later for Paxton Lynch and Geno smith in his place

Geno Smith is real good backup QB if you look at the league average.

Hundley is a better fit in this offense than he was in GB.

How would we know? KK keeps telling everyone he's not sure what the offense will look like yet lol

Hundley ran elements of the Air Raid at UCLA when he was there.

This was specifically stated when he was brought in: he had his most success in his career with similar concepts.

Probably gonna need to do this a lot this year, but he is certainly capable of making a lot of these plays.

Cole working with the 1st team OL here.

Only 2 DL - Peters and Philon

Philon ran right by Sweezy, who completely whiffed. Ugly.

I get that DL aren't allowed to touch him

but what was impressive there was the throw -- snap throw, feet parallel to the line, with pace and accuracy.

That was Philon, right?

That is a play that would have gotten Kyler killed in real action. Not the play I want to show to say that his mobility is going to make up for our OL woes.

(I feel the need to caveat everything I say about our QB at the moment when it sounds negative - of course Kyler's scamper for the completion is a plus, if he saw it a little earlier.)

How is RSJ coming along? I had high hopes for him last season.

Also I was watching some Kyler highlights at his time with Texas A&M and RSJ was on that team catching quite a few passes from him. Didn’t realise they were together there

I've mentioned before how uncannily accurate he is while he's moving, and it's one of the main reasons I thought he was worth the 1st pick.

He gets flushed from the pocket, and you think he'll just scramble out of bounds for seven yards, but no, he instead drops a dime to a wide open receiver for a touchdown.

Those are the kind of plays that demoralize a defense.

Blitz Murray at your own peril NFL.

Other Kingsbury notes ahead of morning practice:
Brooks Reed suffered minor injury in practice yesterday and "might be a few days", Suggs receiving a vet day off today, not seeing Murray run as much because "he wants to get through some reads"

Kingsbury confirmed the top three cornerbacks are Robert Alford, Tramaine Brock and Byron Murphy during P2 suspension. Brock has been outside CB and Murphy in slot during those reps, but those roles are not yet concrete.
