Sorry for the delay in getting this out, but I was at a wedding tonight partying my ass off... so in my drunken stuper here is the official word from the Diamondbacks Press Release.. probably covered already but what the hey!!

DIAMONDBACKS ANNOUNCE 2003 OPENING DAY ROSTER

PHOENIX, AZ -- The Arizona Diamondbacks today announced the 25-man roster
that will open the 2003 regular season on Monday, March 31, when the club
opens in Bank One Ballpark against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The breakdown
of the Opening Day roster includes 11 pitchers, two catchers, seven
infielders and five outfielders.

Among the transactions to complete the Opening Day roster, Arizona
purchased the contract of infielder Carlos Baerga, a non-roster invitee to
spring training. The Diamondbacks optioned pitcher John Patterson, catcher
Robby Hammock and infielder Alex Cintron to Tucson (AAA); reassigned to
minor league camp pitchers Eddie Oropesa and Ron Villone, infielder Chris
Donnels and outfielder Mark Little; designated for assignment pitcher Greg
Swindell; released pitcher Mike Jackson and loaned outfielder Felix Jose to
the Mexico City Reds. Pitcher Armando Reynoso has elected to step away from
the game at this time to address family matters.


The 2003 Arizona Diamondbacks Opening Day roster:
Pitchers (11) -Miguel Batista, Elmer Dessens, Randy Johnson (L), Byung-Hyun
Kim, Mike Koplove, Matt Mantei, Mike Myers (L), Bret Prinz, Stephen Randolph
(L), Curt Schilling and Oscar Villarreal.
Catchers (2) - Rod Barajas and Chad Moeller.
Infielders (7) - Carlos Baerga, Craig Counsell, Mark Grace, Lyle Overbay,
Junior Spivey, Matt Williams and Tony Womack.
Outfielders (5) - Danny Bautista, David Dellucci, Steve Finley, Luis
Gonzalez and Quinton McCracken.
