Well, I'm the person that usually does name changes, and in most cases it is for people that want their nicknames to their real names: e.g. BigBadBert -> Bert, D-Dogg -> Donald, thirty-two -> Kate, HarleyRider -> Brian and so forth.

Ask for your real name or have the board suggest one for you. It worked for Assface, Poolboy, Ouchie-Z-Clown and others.

Handle changes make it confusing for other members.

Well that was fast. I literally just went to grab a beer and it was changed when I got back.

Name changes are easy. As bad as it sounds, the system thinks of you as a number. Takes all of 10 seconds.

Yes, if you are a Dr. I'll do it. If not, I'll change it to Mr. Jones or whatnot.

Otherwise put up a poll in EE and take suggestions.

I will give you a waiver and change your name to "Verizon Jones" with a pass

I have a PhD in Information Sciences and Technology from the University of Pittsburgh, but really my choice was more Indiana Jones related. lol

Mr. Jones might be better since I don't want to come across as a snob.

Oh, and thanks for the VZW option.... Unfortunately I left them in December. They are still the best out there, but we had some internal differences.

OK cool no problem with real name changes.

Tell me what you want specifically with capitalization and punctuation and I'll do it since it is your real name.

"DR JONES", "mr.jones", "MR JONES", "Mr. Jones" whatever you want works.
