The Green Bay collapse happened in week 8 of that year. He didn’t even put together half a good season.

We were 4-6 the rest of the way after a 7-0 start. Just a catastrophe.
No, I hear you. I'll be the first to admit that it was fun while it lasted and I was caught up in the moment. Hadn't seen that level of "winning" since Carson and the boys.

So sick of this narrative. Many of us did not want him to be our pick when we had the top pick. Many of us wanted Quinnen Williams. We already should have had our QBOTF with Lamar Jackson, but the team had gone with Josh Rosen instead.

Still, as fans of the team, we hoped for the best with Kyler. For 7 years. 7 years. Clearly, he was not the right choice to help us here in the desert and we are ready to move on. A change of scenery will be beneficial to us all.

That doesn't make people ready for this change haters, racists, or anything other labels you want to throw at us. We are Cardinals fans who want to see something different moving forward. Period.
Racists? Did I miss this?

I like the proposed competition, but I suspect Minnesota has already realized McCarthy is no Tom Brady.

Yeah, there were a couple of posters on here that felt if you were not a fan of Kyler's it was for "uh, reasons." Didn't matter if the QB you wanted was Lamar Jackson. In their mind, if you were not a Kyler fan it must have had something to do with him being Black/Asian.

I loved what Vince Marotta on the local morning show said the other day, before Kyler had signed in Minnesota.

Paraphrasing him he said, "These teams courting Kyler are hoping that he can do things he hasn't really done so far in seven seasons, and if he does those things, it could really work out for them."

Did Vince list the 'things'?

I am trying to think back on what he said. I'll search their "podcasts" later - really just the recordings of their show segments.

It wasn't based on his on-the-field play for the most part, IIRC. It was more like his personality, how he meshed or didn't mesh with teammates, how he handled adversity, and those kinds of things. The things that might not change even with a change of scenery. At some point, you are who you are, for better or worse.

JJ McCarthy is a virtual rookie with bad mechanics they're trying to fix.
not gonna have much time for that anymore when they’re trying to fix Kyler’s mechanics

K1 Signs with Vikes.

I think I made a bet with someone here that he would sign with the Vikes.

K1 is about to make the Cardinals look like the biggest clowns in the history of sports. We will never live this down if he goes there and does well.

People here forgot what good coaches in the NFL can do.

Arians took this crap franchise to the NFC title game.

KOC is a really good coach and so is Flores.
whenever I see KOC, my mind automatically goes to King of Cards - RIP Tim

The Vikings HC has a rep for playing his QB's in what is best for both the QB and the team. With a short QB, we'll see if that's under center.
Imagine do that.

We have had scrubs for coaches for so long. KOC is an actual NFL coach like what we see in our division for other teams.
