2021 - Prove It
It’s wild how many people on this board think that the defense’s issues last year were due to injuries.

It played a role. It didn’t stop us from being a top 10 defense but they were player pretty well in the first 4 games when healthy. You must be registered for see images attach

The counter argument being if one off ball LB has that level of impact, the roster isn’t that good.It was a combination of things but injuries were definitely a big part. Mack Wilson played against Dallas we won, we held them to 17 and then Mack went on IR and missed the rest of the year. In the last 9 games we allowed 40 points four times and 37 points twice. Yes it also was connected to who we played, Seattle, the Rams, 49ers, they were all really good but Wilson was just the latest in a series of losses.
Before he went down the Colts 31 was the most points we allowed all year, after he went down we averaged allowing 31 PPG.
So yes injuries did play a big role. It's also why I wanted a LB at some point, Simon was horrible last year

Injuries didn’t keep our edge rushers from getting sacks. Nothing has been done to address that.It wasn't just the one we had been losing DB's and other guys the whole year but Mack was the kicker. We went from having a veteran who was having a very good year to a rookie who had no idea what he was doing and was constantly filling the wrong gaps
How many small DL can you run? Stills,If I’m the Cards I’m picking DT Kaleb Proctor with I next pick if he’s still on the board
They need guys who can get to the QB! This guy can from the insideHow many small DL can you run? Stills,
Robinson, Collier and Nolan to a degree are all undersized.
Its biggest issue is coaching & a passive conservative approach by the DC…STILL :-(It’s wild how many people on this board think that the defense’s issues last year were due to injuries.

Injuries didn’t keep the only two DL players to pressure the QB from being Nolan and Campbell.
Injuries didn’t show ADG as awful and Simon/Pappoe as ineffective.
Melton was benched more than he was injured. Will Johnson disengaged. EJones couldn’t get on the field with Burke and Clark on the roster.
The Cardinals have done nothing to improve the pass rush at both DL and EDGE and nothing to improve ILB. And at this point in the draft, the opportunities to do so for 2026 are crazy outliers in terms of success rate.
