It's nice to be on the other side of the draft hate for once. I Love this pick, pun intended. He was by far the best available player and a blue chip Big John prospect. We didn't stupidly trade down for magic beans, we didn't reach for a non-blue chip player. I give you credit for this one, Monti. Well done.

I totally agree. Even if he’s wrong at least it’s a swing for the fences.
Don’t know if Simpson is being considered. However , if he is we are probably going to have to trade up to get him.

He is in the same situation he was in with Atlanta. He did okay for himself. And, when Love gets his inevitable Cardinals rookie injury he will be the starter.

yeah the skill Trey had that nobody else on the RB roster had was speed, that's not true now with Love. I don't think people realize how fast Love is, Achane is insanely fast he ran a 4.32, Love is nearly 20 pounds heavier and ran a 4.36.

Carter was one of the biggest disappointments from early in the draft last year, I won't be surprised if Reese is this year. Hope he proves me wrong but I suspect he'll go through the same thing Carter did last year

Doesn’t surprise me they said they’ve been fielding calls all week. I’m sure they made it abundantly clear that the ask price was more than anybody was willing to pay.

None of these players are good enough to trade up for. There will be a lot of trades after round 1, maybe the last half of round 1.

The price to trade up for Reese would've been stupid high for a guy no one is sure will be an elite NFL player
