then Pasch and Mistler are idiots. mcCown certainly deserves no praise today. But he has had absolutley zero time to look downfield today. The O-line has been the worst I have ever seen it![/QUOTE

They have complained about the OL too.

I don't know, you tell me Shane why is Green running the ball so much in passing downs, is it just the weather?

I dont buy that constant excuse from you Russ. If that was the case then he would simply pull Josh. He has a long history of pulling QBs without hesitation. Hes already done it with Josh! Maybe its because teh O-line couldnt protect or was costantly false starting? Who knows?

This is the worst performance by the O-line in my 18 years of being a fan.

Cause he is new, young, learning, smart, and everyone around him is screwing him. He has the worst recievers, line, blocking rb's, running rb's, a defense who doesnt give him the ball a zillion times in the opponents side of the field or create turnovers, wind, rain, sun, fog.

Did I get them all for you shane? :D

Lets all settle down and not throw away all the good work we've done so far this season.

I agree they have done some good work this season but my god this is the 5th time in the last 6 years the Cardinals have gone 2-5 to start('99,'00,01,03.'04)!!!! It's nuts. Go 0-7 or 5-2 ANYTHING but 2-5.

I'm going to go get some of my Cardinal Kool Aid...well more like a lot.

BRING OUT MCCOWN for the next drive!!!!! Please.

Lets get this nightmare of an experiment over so we can get a guy in there that can make quick decisions.

I'm with the team, have been since 75. But come on Green cans the OL coach, the OL is horrible today. Green brings in his wonderful consultant, we chew up 2 bad defenses, everyone says see good hiring move, now we're facing a good defense we're inept again.

Green is improving this team but it's hard not to think we passed on Ben because of josh and Fitz, Fitz has 0 catches today and Josh has 58 yards passing.

Green demands accountability, he has to demand it from himself too, I can't understand why he is so committed to mcCown

Bledsoe has less than 100 yards passing.

Special teams and poor OL play did us in.

If your not watching on TV, you can't imagine the pressure McCown was under today. The announcers on TV described it as a "jail break up the middle"

Anybody who thinks Shaun King would have done any better with this o line and play calling is foolish.

And another thing... could we have a least rolled McCown out a couple of times? Thrown a screen? The play left a little to be desired today.

I don't see most of the excuses coming from the "bench mccown" camp.

Constantly saying "then why do we continually run the ball" is an excuse. If Green doesnt have the confidence then why doesnt he just pull him?

Nothing personal Shane. but Pasch and mistler know this team and they're both sitting there wondering out loud why we are not throwing the ball downfield especially on 2nd and 3rd and long.

Again, if Green thought King was the answer he'd be playing, I'm convinced that Green has just decided King isn't the answer so I'm going with josh.

I think Green is protecting Josh. I don't have any other explanation Green didn't forget how to coach an offense because of his 2 years off.

Russ we all know this team. You yourself have been annoyed by announcers. If thats all they are harping on in this game then they are being homers POINT BLANK! Their is a whole lot more wrong then Josh. It starts with the pitiful line play!

Horrible play calling, disgusting special teams play, and an OL that is in disaray. NOt one screen pass, only 2 quick throws, no wonder we lost.

Hey we got a touchdown, hmmm reminds of Jake padding his stats in losing situations.

real simple. Give the man some time to throw, and he MAKES PLAYS.
BS, he had time on at least two other throws on that drive threw terrible passes.

here's what Mistler just said. If we give him the time, I believe Josh can be the QB we all want him to be. But Green wants to win, now.

What I mean is these guys are inside the team more than most of us, some of the things they say are positive, Josh has the talent, but you have to be patient while he learns to understand the game(mistler said that earlier), and I'm not sure Green will wait for him.

they are all over the OL Shane, they are not blaming the loss on josh but they are openly questioning why we run plays that appear to show no faith in Josh. And they are clearly baffled as to why he throws short so much and why under pressure, he doesn't look downfield consistently.

Both raved about the TD throw to Johnson and the near TD to Boldin.

i'd just like to see what King can do with a week of reps as the starter, I am pretty sure I already know what Josh can and can't do.

Yeah, the definitley was a garbage time TD, but it just illustrates the point that IF you provide McCown some protection. He'll make plays.

By the way, on the "bounce pass" play, Sam Adams was in the back field IMMEDIATELY, AGAIN, for the 10,000th time! The interior of the oline play today was a joke.

Wells, Bridges and Step got pulverized.

Why would they throw with a big lead?

In case you missed it the Buffalo fans want Bledsoe's head. He's not playing well, they want him replaced.

Yeah, but when of those throws was desperation heave, the other was on busted coverage.

If we had a quick think qb like bledsoe we would have a winning record right now. No doubt about it.

Pasch and Mistler are talking right now about the firing of Wylie being an obvious factor, they're ripping the OL. They are basically saying they sucked today Shane so you know they're not just questioning Josh.
