What would you price him at, though? 45 starts in five NFL seasons. Would you pay him $16 million a year?

The Cards thought they were solidifying their RG spot for several years when they signed Will Hernandez.
Seems like an ideal spot for an organization who won’t shut up about building the team through the draft to build through the draft.

I've posted this before but if I'm Monti I'm going after Mekhi Becton. I think Becton would fill one of the biggest needs left on the Cardinals and at age 25 would solidify the RG spot for several years.

I would give Becton a 4 year $66M contract. I think he would be a road grader that would solidify Cardinals rushing attack and provide solid pass protection.

Will Hernandez is going to be 30 this year. I'd go with the 25 year old who isn't coming off a major injury if I had my choice. I like Hernandez a lot I'm not spending big on him with his injury and age.

the room is pretty full. I liked Lopez,...but other guys are already under contract and we should have a top rookie that needs that roster spot soon.
Yeah looks like grant …Nolan or Derrick Harmon it is…….o line or corner at 47…speed wr in the third….wish they would get Benton then Kenneth grant…2 physical players….can you imagine those two at a seafood Buffett?

That's a top 6 RG contract. Wasn't Becton, like, super-bad for the Jets two years ago?

I know that was at tackle, etc., etc. Just wondering how excited we should be to buy the fifth-best guy on a super bowl OL. There's probably a reason Philly isn't asking him back.

Something that can be said about every free agent.

yes the Jets make everyone look super bad. Plus moving Becton inside was the best thing for him where he was able to use his size, strength and athleticism to dominate.

With $74MM and the 4th most cap space in the NFL, most fans were expecting at least 2 impact signings. So far, we've got 1 and maybe another 1/4 impact signing(yes, I'm optimistically giving the Akeem Davis-Gaither signing a 1/4 impact value).

Come on Monti, give us at least another 3/4 impact signing, so we can reach 2.

Edit: Is Mykal Walker the 3/4 I was looking for???

We drafted our RG of the present and future, and Adams acquired some experience last season.

Check out Becton's pass-pro numbers.
