Since it’s this time of year. Jokic might be the most entertaining player to watch in today’s NBA. And there were players in th past like Wilt and Dr. J that you just had to watch. But for me, the one player ever was Jason Williams. Hand’s down.

As someone who tried to watch all his games on WGN back in the day, even though I rooted against his team when I moved to the Valley in 1993, I still tip my cap to his Airness.

I'll never forget getting tickets to the Suns vs Bulls, and then infuriatingly, during the all star game, Jordan skipped a practice or something, so the NBA suspended him a game. Guess which game?

I'll never get over that.

That said, the best player I've ever seen live was Anthony Davis. Quite a difference.

I saw Jordan live, once, in his comeback season against the Knicks in 1995.

Trying to think of other all-time greats I've seen live. Kobe, Nash, Barkley, Dirk, LeBron (once I think). I think that's probably it, unless you count David Robinson who I saw live a couple times.

Yep, I was going to say, Steve Nash was must see viewing.

One of my favorite in person games was when Barkley was still on the 76ers and they came to town and a young Dan Majerle was hounding the s#!t out of him. Barkley was visibly disturbed by young Dan's D.

I’ve seen Nash & and Vince Carter play live in phoenix.

Most entertaining for me was Allen Iverson. Every time he touched the ball he was going to shoot it. lol

Seeing Amare live was something for me. It really punctuated how these specimens are all WELL beyond any average human. Seeing how these large individuals fly around a court like it was 10 feet long instead of 90+ was eye-opening.

Yes but I saw Davis in his absolute prime and he was pretty good.

Magic Johnson. Saw him live a few times. He was electric on the court and moved so smooth for a big guy. He'd make a no-look pass and you'd have to catch a replay because you didn't believe what you just saw.

Met him once. Walking in the crowd at the ASU vs. Michigan St. football game - opening game the year we eventually won the Rose Bowl. Got to say hello to him and shake his hand. Meant a lot to a 15-year-old kid from California.

For Me it was The Hawk. Connie Hawkins did things that were unreal. A shame he couldn’t play in the NBA in his prime. My favorite Sun of all time.

There are several very obvious answers, some of which were named up thread: Jordan, Magic, Bird are all super obvious. Older school guys like Dr. J (also super obvious), Hawkins, and Maravich take a back seat to no one. Jason Williams isn't a bad choice for more modern hotdogs. Nash and Barkley are solid as Suns choices.

Got to see bird in his prime the old garden. That was pretty awesome. Barkley in person was fantastic too.

Watched all of iversons home games live while at gtown. That was something else. He was fastest guy in nba - imagine him against collegians. Good god it was unreal.
