I was just looking over the Unrestricted FAs for 2022 and it looks like there are a lot of DTs and DEs we could easily afford that would immediately strengthen our run D and our Pass rush. Two or even 3 really good FAs available could be easily had using the money we are paying Jones, Watt, and Green this year.

Now, I am not very knowledgeable on contracts and all the 'between the lines' rules of Cap space and releasing players, but those 3 players salaries this year total something like 18 million I believe. That is a lot more than 2 or 3 of the best DLmen would cost in FA. There are, like I said, many to choose from, many still young and 'growing'.

Anyone feel good about some of these coming FAs I found using this FA Tracker.

I didn’t view DL as a soft spot coming into the season at all matter fact it was looked at a strength we’ve just had everybody on the D-Line go down. You can’t account for that
