No option to trade down, so would you go Will Anderson or Jalen Carter?

I’m not ready to accept defeat yet. I need to see year two of Paris at LT and D-Rob for a full season. If both are mid to above average then the trade failed and Monty effed up.
I hate how Anderson has been instant and constant impact, and we're still in "eh, we'll see, maybe we did well in the trade" mode. This organization is really good at stupidly trading away from the chance to draft stud pass rushers.

It's interesting how Monti gets crap for trading down and missing out on Anderson but also gets crap for not trading down and taking MHJ.

Houston was the 2nd worst team in the NFL and drafting the 2nd best (they got him 2nd) QB. The odds were strongly in favor of the Cardinals getting another top 5 pick the next year for trading down. It's was a gamble...it didn't work out.

We draft Anderson and he gets hurt in training camp. It's the Cards way.

.
I was 100% certain we were getting another top-5 pick when Houston started 0-2. Imagine getting a WR and Joe Alt!

Not really a discussion if you ask me.

Anderson was the higher rated prospect. Carter had a lot of red flags (still does), so the choice is simple.

Per PFF Anderson was the superior player this season. His score is pro-bowl/close to all-pro. Carter is around the discussion for pro-bowl level.
