This freak g team is the defending NFC Champs, Defending NFC West Champs, will more thank likely be NFC West Champs after Sunday and will be back in the playoffs and at worst have a 10-6 record. If that doesn't "earn" your respect I don't know what will. It's one freaking game. This is still a top 7 or 8 team in the NFL. If the Cards lose 2 out of their next three and miss the playoffs the. you can talk about them not being respected.

The 49ers punched them in the mouth and the Cardinals pee'd their pants.

Now the Card's can pad their record against the Rams and Lions and probably still win the division but I have no faith in this group to take it to the next level or even win in the playoffs.

I disagree. The 9ers ARE a good team underrated by many on here and overrated by their fans. They always play the Cards tough, but they are a good team. I don't know it was nerves or arrogance that got the better of the Cards tonight but either way they better shape up if they want to storm into the playoffs. One thing is for certain the 9ers are starting to emerge as a good team that should give the Cards fits next year.

You mean expecting the team to look like the NFC champs, not turn it over 7 times and show up for a game against a division rival to clinch the division? This team was pathetic tonight. No, the 5-11 Denny Green teams were not good. This current team should be good but beats themselves. That is what's pathetic about them.

Getting outplayed or outscored is one thing. Having the ball bounce the other team's way is one thing. But the Cardinals AGAIN just failed to show up. When you have more talent and a better team and get your ass handed to you in front of a national audience by a team that just got beat by the Seahawks there is no other way to describe it but pathetic.

I might even see your point if the Cardinals did this on a rare occasion but they do it with regularity.

I haven't been so embarrassed to root for this team since the MNFiasco. So freaking inconsistent, it is disgusting. All this talk and pregame tough guy BS and we turn it over 7 freaking times. How the D only let up 24 is beyond me. They better beat the hell out of anyone who fumbles in practice this week. Absolutely embarrassing/pathetic display of football on the national stage. They do? This was their SECOND bad loss of the season. When they were 4-12 they were doing it consistently. They lost to a good team playing inspired ball. Relax man it's not like they just got shredded by the Browns.

The 49ers were 2-6 over the past 8 games, coming off a loss to the Seahawks. What part of this stat screams that they are a "good" team or "underrated." We were playing a down team, coming off a huge win, and playing for the division championship. This should have been a statement game and instead we looked past it and laid an egg.

I will admit that division games are harder, but to say that we lost to a good team tonight is just wrong.
