Robinson was fine when he locked up with a defender lined up directly opposite him. But any movement in the d-line baffled him. Time and time again the Niner's got pressure by overloading the other side of the line leaving Robinson to block air. The Rams never adjusted or even ran a draw play through the hole the Niner's gave them.

The Rams would be fools to fire Fisher. He's doing an admirable job with what he has to work with (using a 3rd string QB for one). He had a good gameplan in place for SF and had them ready to play. The Rams were going to take a 14 or 18 point lead right before the half but then came that rediculous phantom offensive pass interference penalty that wiped off a nifty 25 yard gain deep into SF territory. Then the wheels came off.

They screwed up some key plays, I ranted on that one before the half and it was truly inexcusable. That Niner TD was the biggest momentum swing of the game and it was 100% on Fisher's terrible management of the clock and game situation. He is well on his way to missing the playoffs for the 5th year in a row and 8th time in his last 10 years as a coach. He had a good run in Tennessee a decade ago but the game appears to have caught up with him.
