The Denver Broncos (13-3) remain the No. 1 seed in the AFC's playoff race going into the final week of the regular season.
The Broncos have already clinched the AFC West and a top-three seed. If they defeat the Los Angeles Chargers (11-5) in Week 18, Denver will clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference, ensuring home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Broncos' competition for the top seed is the New England Patriots (13-3) and Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4). Even if Denver loses next week, the Broncos can still clinch the No. 1 seed if the Patriots lose and the Jaguars lose or tie their respective games.
If the Broncos clinch the No. 1 seed, they will have a first-round bye and will skip the wild card round before hosting a game in the divisional round. The playoffs will begin Jan. 10-12 with the divisional round set for Jan.17-18.
