The Arizona Cardinals released defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson the week before free agency in a salary-saving move. He has found a new team.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, he is joining the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year contract worth $7.5 million with $6 million fully guaranteed.

Tomlinson signed a two-year contract last offseason with the Cardinals after he was cut by the Cleveland Browns. He played in and started all 17 games for the Cardinals, which in and of itself is quite the accomplishment considering the injury issue the Cardinals had in 2025.

He had 26 tackles, three tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, a sack and a tipped pass. It wasn't the production many expected, as he had at least 10 QB hits in the three seasons prior to 2025.
