Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, Tommy DeVito, and Jaxson Dart are a cast of characters that currently make up the New York Giants' quarterback room, which was completely void just a few months ago.

It is an odd and eclectic mix of personalities -- one that an anonymous NFL coach feels is worthy of its own reality television series.

"You need a reality show for that [quarterbacks] room," the coach told ESPN.

The irony is that the QB cast could have been even stranger had the Giants and general manager Joe Schoen selected Shedeur Sanders, the son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, in the 2025 NFL draft as opposed to Dart.

It was an option they had explored but ultimately shied away from, reports Jordan Raanan.

"Dominated the entire process with us," Schoen told Dart in their phone conversation after he was selected.

That is believed to be the difference between Dart and Sanders, who both had supporters in the Giants' building early in the process. Multiple coaching and front office sources in the league believe Sanders struggled during that early March visit when Daboll peppered the quarterback on an install given to him the night before visiting the facility.

Multiple sources told ESPN several weeks later that they spoke to individuals in the Giants organization who said they were lukewarm on Sanders. It started becoming apparent a week before the draft that they were more interested in Dart. He was Daboll's quarterback of choice, a source said days before the draft.

The Giants explored several other quarterback avenues this offseason, including a possible trade for Matthew Stafford, the signing of Aaron Rodgers, and a trade up to No. 1 overall for Cam Ward. They also met with Joe Flacco and pondered a deal for Kirk Cousins.

Ultimately, they settled on the current four and while the group may seem comical to some outside of the building in East Rutherford, the Giants are heavily relying on the foursome to turn the struggling franchise around, both short-term and long-term.
