I mean, it's between Maye and Stafford for MVP and Maye's numbers are better. He's exponentially better than his rookie season, with just 1 year working with Brown.

What can Brown do for you?

Wouldn't Josh McDaniels get the credit before a passing game coordinator?

Congrats for winning the Super Bowl 12 years ago. I don’t want Bill Belicheck, either.

The AFC North was butt for years! Cleveland and Cincy are historic laughing stocks.

I’m as big a fan of the Harbaugh family as there is, but John is not it. Don’t get suckered in by a name and resume. There’s a reason he’s getting bounced out of Baltimore.
WOW!!! I actually 1000% agree with K9 on something. I live an hour from Baltimore, and follow them as closely as the Cardinals. K9 is right that having Cleveland & Cincy in your division created 4 easy wins for many, many years. He’s a good coach, and I’ll leave it at that. All my in-laws are Ravens fans & NONE of them are losing sleep right now.

They should bring in Gannon and Petzing for an interview.

For what it's worth, an NFLPA survey of players for 2023 had Brown rated as one of the top 5 offensive coordinators.
I don’t think that’s worth much. Most players have only played for maybe 2-3 coordinators and only 1/32nd of them had played for Brown.

Yeah a huge factor to me is the division you play with in. Part of Tom Brady’s greatness was in part because they essentially started every season 6-0 bc he got to play the god awful perennial losers that were the Jets, Dolphins and Bills…Those teams were like historically bad for 15 years.

To that point, you would much rather play in the AFC North (CLE) or AFC South (TEN)

Yea, because the Ravens have an MVP caliber QB in his prime...a handful of other elite players...and will likely have their pick of coaches. Baltimore has been a perennial playoff team for over a decade. Even their bad years are better than the slop the Cardinals have put on the field. Maybe Harbaugh....like Tomlin...like McDermott...like Shanahan...maybe they can't make the jump from top 15 team every year to top 5 team every year or take an already very good team and make them elite.

What AZ is looking for is a coach who can make us competitive. Someone who takes us from laughing stock to a degree of respect in the NFL. We have had ONE coach like that in BA. He had us as at that level. Unfortunately for us he was old, in poor health, and apparently didn't get a long with Mike after a point.

Baltimore and AZ are on opposite sides of the NFL. If Harbaugh could come here for a decade...win 8-10 games almost every year...make the playoffs maybe 5 times and win a playoff game in 3 of those years...he would be the best coach this organization has ever had.

Why didn’t you meantion he has the most road playoff wins in the modern era?

What does he bring to the table here? He couldn’t win with a two-time MVP. The infrastructure in Baltimore is fantastic. He can identify assistants, but that’s not really where we are.
Culture builder. He would demand, and need to be given, say over remodeling the front office in Baltimore's image. Ideally he'd bring a new GM with him from the Baltimore front office. None of which will ever happen with the Cardinals but that would be the dream....

I never said he wasn’t a good coach. He is! At almost 64, he’d be a short term fix. I personally don’t think we have a shot at him, but I’d be lying if I said I’d be unhappy if we did.

I mean one thing i think Gannon did here was instill a positive culture. But I don’t think Harbaugh has any interest in building a front office in his image.

"What does he bring to the table?"

LMAO.

Maybe the problem is that LAMAR can't win a Superbowl.

Harbaugh won a Superbowl with Joe fricking Flacco. You're arguing just to argue.

That’s about as many wins as the Cardinals have this millennia

You could take his worst 5 years in Baltimore....and it would put him as like the 4th winningest coach in AZ cards history.

A lot of good points. Harbaugh may not be the sexy pick he would be in 2020, but he's a solid catch and should earn credibility to this team. Will BidMo make a serious push? Will Harbaugh even care?

Or a good, young OC. Different route to earn credibility, and maybe better in the long run, and more satisfying if we can actually strike gold.

Anything else, I don't mind, just hopefully they're good.

But, if there's the ability and opportunity to grab Harbaugh, don't over think it and figure the rest later.

C'mon BidMo. Wine and dine him like your pockets depend on it. And your fan's hopes and dreams, and all positive outlook in life.

Those are two different things.

I'm saying that Harbaugh knows how a successful front office works and wouldn't go to a team with a dysfunctional one; so if he came to the Cardinals he'd demand changes along the lines of how Baltimore does things. Which is one reason that it won't happen.
