Yeah, but will he be "that guy" again?

I was surprised when he started the second half against us.

Some changes announced for the NBA All-Star game.

One of them, there will be no positional requirement.

-----------------------------

By Tim Bontemps Nov 11, 2025, 09:29 PM ET, from ESPN:

Beyond the obvious change, going to a three-team format featuring eight-man rosters -- two of which will be made up of American players, and a third of international selections -- there are a couple of changes to how those players will be selected.

The basics -- five starters and seven reserves from each conference, with a combination of fans, media and players voting for the starters and coaches picking the reserves -- remain unchanged. What is different, though, is that there will no longer be any positional requirements.

Let's vote in 15 small guards!! Let's make this a wreck the first year! :)

Report, Bradley Beal is expected to make a full recovery in 6-9 months.

At least he got 14 shots off against us! Something that he says he never got to do (which he actually did over half the time he played).

Said in preseason the Warriors were too old but it's kind of crazy how bad it's gotten. GP2, Hield and Horford all appear to be completely washed. Will Richard(draft steal) has taken Payton's minutes and Melton comes back soon, Hield is losing his minutes to Moody who's now back. But they don't have anybody to take Horford's spot if he's as washed as it looks they're dead.

Got blown out by OKC last night, getting down double digits to teh Spurs in the first half play them again tomorrow, they are both too old and too small. desperately needed Horford to pan out but so far he appears to be done

Talk about being 100% wrong. down 16 the Warriors came back and won. Curry went for 22 in the 3rd 46 for the game. Before teh game the Warriors announcers on tv said they had lunch with Curry today and "he's still sick, he's going to go tonight but we don't know for how long he was ill during lunch with us." Started off getting worked by Castle and missing shots 1-6 from 3 and that was a 1 foot leaner. Then went nuts in the 3rd. He's amazing.

For much of the 4th they played Steph, Payton, Moody, Draymond and Butler, tallest player 6'6" and the Spurs had Wemby and Kornet on the floor together.

I don’t think I’ve seen a player keep raising his game to a level than Joker that many seasons after his first MVP:

Jokic is so amazingly good, it's become expected.

And he does it routinely and seemingly with little effort.

FWIW.

It would be interesting if the Kings did blow it up.

Why they thought a worse version of the Bulls would work there is anyone's guess. I like Keegan Murray and Sabonis. Not sure we have enough for either but it is Sacramento. Maybe we can trade them some chewed bubblegum adn the rights to Torrey Craig.

I'd be all over Murray, he'd be a great fit at the 4 long term with the team, but doubt Sacramento would want to move on from him. Sabonis is a pass for me though. Suns have a 5 that fits the team better now and another one that they're trying to find minutes for already and failing.

Will Dallas blow it up?

Mark Cuban is reportedly being reinvolved with the Mavericks.

I don't blame Dallas for blowing it up but their timing isn't great. They have a lot commited to win now and Kyrie won't be back before March or April. Might as well see what they can do before entering a rebuild this summer.

if cuban is back in the mix you can count on logical well thought decisions being made

Like refusing to pay the defensive anchor on their title team, cutting short any chance of a repeat? That sort of well thought out logic? Cuban was too involved in the past.

Michael Jordan had 44 games of 40 or more after the age of 30, the NBA record. Steph Curry now has 43.

If I were a Mavericks fan, I'd be miffed. They make it to the Finals in 2023-24, then they blow the team up by trading Doncic.

This trade can compete with the Suns trade for Durant, maybe worse.

I like Keegan Murray, but it makes no sense for them to move him, he's one of their few young guys. The rest of that roster is a nightmare. I don't even know how they blow it up. Sabonis is moveable but I cannot imagine anyone would give up value for LaVine or Derozan. The Bulls spent years trying to move off those players and the Kings were the only team stupid enough take them.

Sabonis has to hate his life there. He's a really good play maker and he's surrounded by black holes who are constantly going on dribbling exhibitions to set up their inefficient 20 foot jumpers. His stats so far this year are brutal, I'd be nervous to take him.

I have seen this movie before. What until the buyout, and then get them for vet minimum. :)
