As NFL teams finalize their 2025 NFL draft boards, Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Arian Smith has secured a valuable opportunity. The New York Jets have scheduled a top 30 visit with him, according to Ryan Fowler, as part of their pre-draft evaluation process.

Arian Smith consistently demonstrated his explosive playmaking ability during his Georgia career. In his final season, he topped the team in receiving yards with 817 and ranked second in receptions with 48 and contributed four touchdowns. Over his entire collegiate career, he amassed 68 receptions, 1,356 yards, and 10 touchdowns and was always a deep threat due to his elite speed.

Smith ran a 4.33 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL combine.

Arian Smith, transitioning from a track background to football, initially faced an adjustment period in college. However, he developed into a formidable deep-threat weapon for Georgia. Notably, his pivotal touchdown against Ohio State in the 2022 Peach Bowl, bringing the Dawgs within one score, remains a memorable moment for many.

The New York Jets lost their star receiver Davante Adams this offseason. So now they are looking for another receiver to compliment their young star receiver Garrett Wilson and newly acquired quarterback Justin Fields.
