I presume that's for an android? I just hit the 'project' on my tablet, but I did have to get an adapter first.

all 3 apple, android, windows all have casting features, you just need a dongle that can accept the casting.

For those non tech geek people out here, how does one project tablet content onto HDTV?

If you have a Samsung tablet and a Samsung TV, it can be done pretty easily.
