A Nebraska pitcher won another major honor for his play this past season. Carson Jasa was named a third-team All-American by ABCA/Rawlings on Friday morning.

The right-handed pitcher went 10-2 with a 3.59 ERA and 117 strikeouts across 87.2 innings while holding opponents to a .210 batting average. He's the first Husker to win ten games in a season since Johnny Dorn went 10-3 in 2007.

The Thornton, Colorado native also made first-team All-Big Ten, the third Nebraska starting pitcher to make the team since 2021. Jasa and shortstop Dylan Carey won All-Central Region honors from ABCA/Rawlings last Tuesday.

Jasa is the sixth All-American under head coach Will Bolt. The Husker ace joins Spencer Schwellenbach (2021), Max Anderson (2023), Brice Matthews (2023), Brett Sears (2024) and Dylan Carey (2026) in earning an All-American honor.
