Nebraska basketball offers rising class of 2029 forward

Nebraska basketball offered class of 2029 forward Noah Woods on Monday. Woods made the announcement on social media.

Woods is considered the top player in the state of South Dakota, according to rankings from Prep Hoops. He measures in at six-foot-eight and is considered a top-150 recruit according to the MADE Hops National 2029 Board.

South Dakota State was the first program to offer him, as his hometown program noticed him immediately. However, Iowa has also made an offer, with Nebraska now in the mix. The Hawkeyes made an offer on Sunday, signaling a growing recruitment effort.

Woods has tremendous size at six-foot-eight. That has made him a highly coveted prospect in the region. He is currently playing with D1 Minnesota on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.

It seems like the Huskers jumped in with an offer at the right time. Woods' recruitment is growing steadily, and this could only be the beginning of what could be an active recruitment.
