The SEC Tournament will tip off Wednesday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. No. 9 seed Kentucky will face No. 16 seed LSU in the tournament's first game. Tipoff between the Wildcats and Tigers is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network).

Tennessee (21-10) is a No. 5 seed in the SEC Tournament. The Vols open play on Thursday in the second round against the winner between No. 12 seed Auburn (16-15) and No. 13 seed Mississippi State (13-18).

Following college basketball games on Tuesday, Joe Lunardi of ESPN released updated bracketology projections for the NCAA Tournament.

Lunardi projects the Vols as a No. 5 seed in Portland, Oregon. Tennessee is projected to face No. 12 seed Northern Iowa in the first round. The winner would advance to play either No. 4 seed Texas Tech or No. 13 seed Utah Valley in the second round.

The NCAA Tournament bracket will be announced March 15 on Selection Sunday (6 p.m. EDT, CBS).
