The 2026 SEC baseball tournament concluded Sunday in Hoover, Alabama. No. 1 seed Georgia defeated No. 7 seed Arkansas, 11-1, in seven innings during the SEC Tournament championship game.

No. 10 seed Tennessee (38-20, 15-15 SEC) last played on May 20. The Vols were eliminated in the SEC Tournament second round against the Razorbacks.

Following Sunday's college baseball games, Baseball America released its final NCAA Tournament regional projections. The Vols are projected to play in the Chapel Hill Regional, hosted by North Carolina, as a No. 2 seed.

Mercer is also projected as a No. 3 seed, while Binghamton is projected as a No. 4 seed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The NCAA Tournament bracket will be revealed Monday at noon EDT (ESPN2) and regional play will begin Friday. Tennessee will make its first NCAA Tournament appearance under first-year head coach Josh Elander.
