Do the teams have any local connections?

Each has many players from southeastern Pennsylvania, including Duke freshman goalie Cam Taylor, who played at Salesianum School in Wilmington. He has not seen game action this season.

Also, Georgetown coach Kevin Warne was an assistant on Delaware coach Bob Shillinglaw’s staff from 2001-04.

Have any of these teams won before?

Princeton has won six NCAA men’s lacrosse championships, all from 1992 through 2001.

Duke has won three, the last in 2014.

Penn State and Georgetown have never reached the title game.
