A 64-team baseball bracket was revealed on Monday for the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee (38-20, 15-15 SEC) is in in the field and will play in its 16th NCAA Tournament in program history (1951, 1993-97, 2001, 2004-05, 2019, 2021-25).

The Vols will open play Friday in the Chapel Hill Regional, hosted by No. 5 national seed North Carolina (45-11-1).

No. 2 regional seed Tennessee will play No. 3 regional seed East Carolina (36-22-1) on Friday at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. First pitch is scheduled for noon EDT and will be televised by ESPNU.

UCLA is the No. 1 overall national seed in the NCAA Tournament. Georgia Tech (2), Georgia (3), Auburn (4), North Carolina (5), Texas (6), Alabama (7), Florida (8), Southern Miss (9), Florida State (10), Oregon (11), Texas A&M (12), Nebraska (13), Mississippi State (14), Kansas (15) and West Virginia (16) are also national seeds.

Liberty, Kentucky, Texas State and Troy were the last four schools in the tournament, while Mercer, Michigan, Pittsburgh and TCU were the last four schools out.
